Crime Report: 9 Arrests, 3 Incidents

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

This information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. Complaints listed are alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests

  • On Oct. 2, Andrew Sirico from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for driving while intoxicated.
  • On Oct. 4, Charles Fear from Mount Sinai was arrested in Blue Point for harassment and resisting arrest.
  • On Oct. 4, Shandrea Dickens from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for menacing in the second degree.
  • On Oct. 5, Daniel Ahlschlager from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for larceny.
  • On Oct. 5, Amanda Snyder from Mastic Beach was arrested in Bayport for driving while under the influence.
  • On Oct. 6, Bridgett Ellen Luby from Bay Shore was arrested in Bayport for loitering unlawful use of a controlled substance.
  • On Oct. 6, Brandon Slavik from Blue Point was arrested in Patchogue for criminal possession of stolen property.
  • On Oct. 7, Henry Wittich from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for larceny.
  • On Oct. 8, Sage Holcumb from East Quogue was arrested in Blue Point for operating an unlicensed vehicle.
Incidents
  • At 8 p.m. on Oct. 2, police were informed on an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Salt Meadow Lane in Bayport.
  • On Oct. 6 at 7 p.m., a resident reported an incident of grand larceny that occurred on Oakwood Avenue in Bayport.
  • At 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 4, police were advised that there was an intoxicated irate customer in the parking lot of a Blue Point business who was arguing with an employee.
