Crime Report: 10 Arrests Reported This Week
Recent police activity in the area as reported by the 5th Precinct.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests:
- On Feb. 15, Ian Viola from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Feb. 15, Paul Kelley from Oakdale was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Feb. 19, Jason Hauser from Lake Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- On Feb. 22, Abner Rodriguez from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal contempt.
- On Feb. 22, Thy Le from Sayville was arrested in Lake Grove for petit larceny.
- On Feb. 25, Phyllis Lamb from Mastic was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Feb. 25, Wyteria Jones from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Feb. 25, Jessie Allen from Sayville was arrested in Patchogue for assault with intent to cause injury.
- On Feb. 26, Timothy Miller from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a weapon.
- On Feb. 26, Andre Castellanos from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for DWAI alcohol.

- On Feb. 22, an incident of criminal mischief was reported in the south lot of the LIRR station in Sayville.
- On Feb. 22, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Macon Avenue in Sayville.

- On Feb. 23, an incident of harassment was reported on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.
- On Feb. 24, an incident of burglary was reported on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.

- On Feb. 24, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Atlantic Avenue in West Sayville.
- On Feb. 26, an incident of grand larceny was reported on Sunrise Highway in Sayville.
- On Feb. 26, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Montauk Highway in Sayville.
- On Feb. 26, an incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Saxton Avenue in Sayville.
