ORIGINAL STORY
An early morning car crash in Bayport Monday tied up the intersection of Nicolls Road and Montauk Highway.

According to a passerby a car drove into the fence of the Northwood Village at Bayport Condominum, at the end of Nicolls Road, sometime around 6 a.m., just west of the Sage Cafe.

Reportedly the driver was treated and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Patch is tracking down more definitive information.

Several months ago a driver hit the chamber park white brick planters located right next to the fence.

Patch will update the story once more accident information is provided by Suffolk Police.
