B-BP Crime Report: Few Arrests and Even Fewer Incidents

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

ARRESTS

December 10, 2012

A Bayport man was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and for resisting arrest.

December 4, 2012

A Sayville man was arrested in Blue Point and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

 

INCIDENTS

December 8, 2012

A harassment incident involving the theft of a purse between a married couple was reported on Montauk Highway.

December 7, 2012

An incident of aggravated harassment was reported by a John Avenue resident.
