B-BP Crime Report: Parade Weekend DWIs, Criminal Mischief

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Sayville resident Azilee Mack was arrested in Bayport on March 10 on a charge of petit larceny.
  • Dominick Sarno from East Islip was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated on March 10.
  • On March 11, Kerry Lyons from Holbrook was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Lake Grove resident Neil Visse was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated on March 11.
  • Sandra Almonte from Medford was arrested on March 11 in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • On March 12, Andrew Collins from Levittown was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of criminal contempt.
  • Anthony Benevento from Shirley was arrested in Blue Point on March 16 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On March 12, Andrew Sirico from Bayport was arrested in Bayport on a charge of menacing.
  • Frank Alfo from Bayport was arrested in Sayville on a charge of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs on March 14.

  • Terrace Road residents in Bayport notified police of an incident of criminal mischief on March 9 at 7 p.m.
  • On March 9, an incident of criminal mischief on Renee Drive in Bayport was reported to police at 3 a.m.
  • Another incident of criminal mischief was reported to police on March 10. This time it was on 2nd Avenue in Bayport at 8 p.m.
  • On March 14, police were alerted of an assault on Montauk Highway in Blue Point at midnight.
