B-BP Crime Report: A Handful Of Drug Charges

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On Feb. 26, Kristin Dipaola from Bay Shore was arrested in Bayport on a charge of grand larceny.
  • Alyssa Carnaxide from Port Jefferson was arrested in Bayport on Feb. 26 on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Bayport resident Matthew Mastandrea was arrested in Holbrook on charges of harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 27.
  • On Feb. 27, Joseph Rico from Bayport was arrested in Holbrook on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • Crystal Harlow from Bayport was arrested in Selden on charges of criminal contempt and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 29.
  • On Feb. 29, Joseph Welling from Bayport was arrested in Farmingville on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • Selden resident Duane Sayre was arrested in Bayport on Feb. 29 on charges of reckless driving and resisting arrest.
  • Blue Point resident Anthony Sfogliano was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated on March 1.
  • On March 2, Peter Bonghi from Rocky Point was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
