Talk Back: What Should the B-BP BOE Focus on This Year?

The new school year brings a new board and Patch asks readers to opine on the top issue facing the district.

If Tuesday night's meeting is any indication, Bayport-Blue Point Board of Education meetings aren't likely to be short and quick. Budget concerns remain a big topic and district spend is clearly a main target but is that the primary issue facing the district which is in the midst of searching and hiring on a new school chief?

Take our poll and in the comments below tell us what you think the board should focus on this year and what changes you expect to take place now that three new members are part of the mix.

Oops.. I thought I had upload the new BOE pic which didn't turn out great. I hope to get a better one and thanks for letting me know.

they need to focus on getting an expereinced superintendent to lead us into the next number of years with a proven track record of district leadership...no 2nd hands from other districts. i feel the community needs to know who the viable candidates are that are being interviewed.
