Shop around if you're selling gold

Interesting experience selling some gold jewelry. Long Island Gold Mine in Sayville offered $330, which I thought was a bit low, so I drove to Patchogue and got $480 from Ronny's Jewelry on S. Ocean Ave. If you're selling gold, it pays to shop around.
