Relaxed security at Islip MacArthur is a bad idea!

This has got to be the craziest idea that our town leaders have ever issued in a press release. The inept managers at the airport are touting the ease of flying LIMA......then they come up with this stunt! I have flown out of LIMA at least 6 times a year before Southwest pulled all their flights. Even when the airport was humming a few years ago, I never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I personally have no problem having to take off my shoes and not carrying liquids. Your going to tell me that a number of people will no longer be checked? Absurd!!!! I will not feel safe knowing that the couple sitting across from me were able to board without being checked. What if their kid is a crazy nut and stows some explosive in their carry on? Will all the drug dealers be paying the $85.00 for their mules? Please do not fall for this obvious attempt to deflect all the bad press the airport has been getting because of the real reason....bad management.
