Rain, rain go away!
Some people enjoy the rain, some don't- either way, a majority of people have a favorite rainy day activity. Sunday's torrential storms doused the area with more than six inches of rain, causing the Suffolk County Department of Health to close several Great South Bay beaches. So, swimming in the rain was not an option.
