Sayville Shop Owner, Stacey O’Connell, Dies

One of Sayville’s newest store owners, Stacey O’Connell, 55, died on December 4, 2013.

The owner of Stars Above, on Main Street, was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth and loving mother of Max. She was a dear sister of Crystal Robbins (Sol) and Peter J. Demas (Cynthia).

She was the devoted daughter of Sophia Demas and the late James Demas.

In addition to running Stars Above, O’Connell was the chief executive officer of Employee Support Network.

Religious services were held at Moloney’s Funeral Home in Bohemia and St. Lawrence the Martyr RC Church last weekend.
