Sayville Resident J. Richard Arata, 75, Dies
Arata was a Sayville High School and St. Anselm's College graduate.
J. Richard Arata, 75, of Sayville, died on Monday, October 28, 2013.
A lifelong resident of Sayville, Dick graduated from Sayville High School and later from St. Anselm’s College.
Arata was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Arata, and was raised by his aunt and uncle, James Fallon Sr and the late Maria Fallon.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Donald in 2012, and is survived by Donald’s wife, Charlene of Sayville, his nieces; Kiersten Corral and her husband John and Brittany Arata, as well as loving family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sat., November 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and a private cremation will follow.
