Devoted Sayville Mother Jennifer Reeve Scherff, 43, Dies

Sayville mother remembered for her free spirit and love of animals and nature.

Lifelong Sayville resident and Sayville High School graduate Jennifer Reeve Scherff, 43, passed away on Oct. 28 and is being remembered as a devoted mother and free spirit who loved the arts, nature and animals.

Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Samantha, her husband, Clayton, her mother Barbara, her sister Holly Van Essendelft and her husband Frank, as well as her nieces, Lauren and Leanne.

Friends and relatives will gather Nov. 1 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2nd.  Interment will follow in Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead.
