For All the Busy Moms Out There

Are you a mom who sacrifices all to take care of your family? Is your eating out of control? Do you think you have no time to exercise?

Hello all,

My name is Laurie Fuchs. I am a personal trainer/pilates instructor and nutrition consultant at in Blue Point. This is my first blog. I am very excited about helping my local community feel good and eat better. This morning before I taught my ZUMBA class, a mom of three was frustrated because she's working out but not losing that last baby weight. I ask "what are you eating?" She replied, "not a lot at all."

I can't express to you how important it is that you take time to eat. Whether it is six small meals a day or three, you must eat, but eat well. Your metabolism will shut down thinking it is not going to get another meal and stop working. You WILL NOT lose weight this way. Eat clean and try to stay away from prossesed food. Fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean meat. You can do it!

To be healthy and happy for our children we need to take care of ourselves. That includes eating right and exercising. You are your family's mood changer. If you're happy, they will be too.
