Santa Visits Bayport Sunday to Say Hi to Young Fans

Santa's arrival wasn't hard to miss thanks to the Bayport Fire Department.

Jolly St. Nick, affectionately also known as Santa Claus, dropped in Bayport Sunday to visit young fans.

His mode transport was a Bayport Fire Department truck as the reindeer are apparently busy  training for the big night ahead next week.

Here's four-year-old Riley Needelman, of Bayport, getting a chance to tell Santa what he's hoping to find under the tree this year and explain that's he's been a good boy all year.

Riley's dad is Seth Needelman, who owns The Fish Store in Bayport and is a former chamber of commerce president. Thanks very much to current Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce President Kathy Heinlein for sharing this great shot.
