Sayville Scout Beats Blood Drive Goal in Quest for Eagle Scout Rank

Troop 184 member John Simpson collected over 45 pints of blood during recent drive.

In the last three weeks three Eagle Scout Projects were completed by the boys in Troop 184 of Sayville, which is sponsored by the Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce. During the 2012-2013 school year four scouts made their rank of Eagle Scout.

Eagle Scout candidate John Simpson recently held a Blood Drive Eagle Scout Project at the Sayville American Legion Post 651. His project exceeded his goal of forty-five pints of blood, forty-five being the number of years that the troop has been active.
