Bayport-Blue Point Middle Schoolers Help Feed the Hungry

Students donated collected food to Blue Point church pantry and a soup kitchen.

James Wilson Young Middle School’s student council helped to make the
holiday season a brighter one for local individuals in need.

During their annual Thanksgiving food drive, the school’s students and faculty donated hundreds of nonperishable food items and boxed goods for the Our Lady of Snow food pantry and a soup kitchen in Patchogue. The homeroom in each grade level that donated the most number of items was rewarded with a bagel breakfast.
