Sayville CROP Walk Aims to End Hunger

Supporters can walk or donate on October 27 and help stop hunger.

It's nearly time for the Sayville CROP Walk, an event aimed at fighting hunger and poverty.

The walk will take place Sunday, October 27 and there is still plenty of time to be a participant and/or donate to the event.

If you would like to walk, sponsor a walker or volunteer please call  Jerry Avolio at 631-363-6696. 

The walk registration will take place at 12:30 p.m., with the walk kicking off at 1 p.m. at the Sayville Common Ground, located between Gillette and Candee Avenue in Sayville.

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by CWS and organized by local volunteers to raise funds to end hunger.

So far the Sayville effort has raised $600. If you would like to donate click here to reach the website.
