Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Islip Town Supervisor Phil Nolan, in coordination with the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SCSPCA), will host the Town's annual rabies vaccination clinic for dogs, cats - and now ferrets - on Saturday, September 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The clinic will be held RAIN or SHINE on the front lawn of Islip Town Hall, 655 Main Street, Islip.  A $10 donation is appreciated, but not required.

The clinic is meant for any dog, cat or ferret older than 4 months.  Dogs must be leashed; cats and ferrets must be in carriers.

"Rabies vaccinations are an important tool we can use to help our pets remain healthy," said Supervisor Nolan.  "I encourage all pet owners to take advantage of this event."
