Gardening in the Park

Learn about pruning butterfly bush, crepe myrtle, other shrubs, evergreens and ornamental grasses.

Tools and gloves and are provided. All sessions use hands-on learning.  The Common Ground follow the cycles of the garden and use organic methods, identify insects, answer horticulture questions, all while enjoying each other’s company and doing our part to beautify Sayville. We also have ‘non-gardening’ chores if you prefer to stay out of the soil.  Please join us!
