Gardening in the Park

VOLUNTEER GARDENERS NEEDED!

SCAVENGER HUNT! Pull some weeds and take home a bouquet.

In order to maintain the vibrancy and beauty of THE COMMON GROUND gardens, we need eager hands to tend to them.

Classes are led by Master Gardener and Purple Lady, Nancy Angermaier, on the first and third Saturday of the month from April through to November from 9am until 12 noon.

Tools and gloves and are provided. All sessions use hands-on learning; we follow the cycles of the garden and use organic methods, identify insects, answer horticulture questions, all while enjoying each other’s company and doing our part to beautify Sayville.
