Abbot’s hilarious comedy Play On! “Comedy Tonight!” is scheduled for November 13, 14 15 and 16, Sayville
High School auditorium.
7p.m. - Wednesday and Thursday ;
8p.m. - Friday and Saturday.
The premise for this comedy is a behind-the-production story of a community theatre
group. Closing season after season in the red, they anticipate that finally
they will be able to close a season in the black by producing a “royalty-free”
play by a local playwright—that is, of course, assuming they are able to close
out their season at all. The playwright is continually revising the play and
throwing rehearsals into chaos.
Each
night, the Sayville Players will open with a brief sketch comedy entitled “Waiting in the Wings” to be followed
immediately by Play On!
Admission
$7 for adults, $5 for students and free of charge for senior citizens
with a Sayville Schools Gold Card. Tickets
may be purchased at Sayville High School beginning Wed November 6 or at the
