Local band Dead Love Dove performing in their Patchogue Live in the Lobby debut.

Dead Love Dove is a five piece band with influences including classic rock, country, folk, indie, Americana and punk. Their debut album is about to be released and will be featured in this show, which is their Live in the Lobby debut. DLD was formed in 2012 by guitarists Paul McEvoy and John Hudson, who were soon joined by drummer Joe Morrione and Bassist/songwriter Mike White. Finally, the band recruited Deanna Marie Kinkead, whose sweet yet powerful voice and creative instincts added a whole new dimension to the group, which features vocal harmonies and unique original songs. They immediately started writing songs for a full length album which is currently in the final stages of production at Vudu Studios, Port Jefferson N.Y.

Sharing the bill is Zen Archer, singer & multi-instrumentalist Steve Kattermann's newest original music project. During the summer of 2013, while gigging steadily with his other band, the Alleygators, Steve spent his spare time shut away in his apartment with his instruments, microphones, computer, and imagination. The result was Burning the Air, a 5 song collection of uniquely crafted original music blending a wide range of influences from blues rock to indie pop. Steve formed Zen Archer to perform the music live and contribute to future songwriting. Joining Steve in this project is David James, who has been part of the Patchogue music scene for a decade. He's done several lobby performances dating back to our first season in 2006.

Come out and support local original music Thursday January 9th at Patchogue Theatre. Doors open at 7:00 pm and show starts 7:30pm.
