fundraiser for ROHHAD, at Apple Fest

Local authors, Deanna Suckow (Sayville), Deanna Schwartzman (Commack) along with St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sayville will have a fundraiser at their concession during the Apple Fest on October 5th  (10:00-4:30) at Broadway Avenue in Sayville.     They will be raising funds for ROHHAD FIGHT INC. to support their research and awarness efforts. A local child, Marisa Carney, has been diagnosed (at the age of 4) with ROHHAD (Rapid-Onset Obesity with Hypothalmic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Dysregulation), this extremely rare disease which is drastically underfunded.      They will donate 20% of the sales of their 3 books: “Teaching Children Money Matters; a Resource Guide for Parents, Grandparents, Teachers and Students”, “What Every Preteen, Teenagers and Young Adult Needs to Know to Avoid Credit Card Debt” & “Money Management Manifesto” to ROHHAD FIGHT, INC. a Not-For-Profit / 501(c)3 Organization that has been created to raise awareness and funding to help children and families who suffer from ROHHAD.
