Fall Art Classes @ Sketchbook Studio

MONDAY:

Explore the Art Studio 4:30-5:15 (Ages 5-6)

This class is designed for 5-6 year olds. Children will engage all of their senses while
manipulating paint, clay and other fun art material, helping them to develop a lifelong
love of art. Students will be improving fine motor skills, while having fun in a child-
friendly art studio.

Basic Drawing 6:00-7:15 (Ages 12-16)

TUESDAY:

Basic Drawing 4:30-5:45 (Ages 7-11)

Assemblage Sculpture 6:00-7:15 (Ages 12- 16)

In this sculpture class students will be learning the process on assemblage .The class will
be putting together found object to make Relief and Freestanding sculptures.

WEDNESDAY:

Painting 4:30-5:45 (Ages 7-11)

Open Studio 6:00-7:15 (Ages 16-21)

Sketchbook Studio is offering open studio classes. This allows your child to pick out an
area of interest and create their own unique piece of artwork with a professional artist
facilitating their instruction. Some students will be working on drawing while others
may be making sculptures simultaneously. Small classes allow the Sketchbook Studio
Creative Director to work with each student individually helping them to create their own
unique body of work.

THURSDAY:

Mixed Media 4:30-5:45 (Ages 7-11)

Painting 6:00-7:15 (Ages 16-21)

This class will be introducing students to the works of American Abstract Expressionist
painters, Willem de Kooning, Lee Krasner, Wassily Kandinsky and Jackson Pollack.

FRIDAY:

One-on-One Instruction by appointment

SATURDAY:

Explore the Art Studio 9:30-10:30 (Ages 5-6)
