The New York Bound: International Book Art Biennial will be showcased from September 22nd through December 29th, 2013 at the Islip Art Museum in East Islip, NY. Please join us for our reception for the exhibition which will be held on October 6th from 1:00-4:00pm in the Islip Art Museum. The exhibition will consist of a selection of artist-made books from around the world and our annual open call. This exhibition promotes and encourages artists’ unconventional ideas about books. We ask artists to explore the book as an object, book-installations, one-offs, author's books, artist's books, writer's books, experimental and limited editions, fine press books and the like.
