What's Happening at the Sayville Library

A weekly look at programs for adults, teens and children.

The Sayville Library has a packed schedule of programs for kids, teens and adults. Whether you are looking to brush up on your computer skills, participate in a book discussion or get your hands dirty with arts and crafts, you are sure to find something interesting.

Here’s a list of what’s on tap for this week from November 28 to December 3.  

Children’s programs:

Nov. 29:  Storytime for Three Year Olds from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Nov. 29: Storytime for Four and Five Year Olds from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Nov. 30: Little Kids Movies for preschoolers from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Dec. 2:  Storytime for Three Year Olds from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Dec. 2: Storytime for Four and Five Year Olds from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Teen Central:

Dec. 2: Lego Contest for ages 10 and up from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dec. 3: Getting Ready to Babysit for grades 6 to 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Adult Programs:

Nov. 28: English as a Second Language Program from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Nov. 29: Afternoon Book Discussion “Cleopatra: A Life” by Stacy Schiff at 3 p.m.

Nov. 29: Learn to be Tobacco Free from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Dec. 1: Senior Fitness from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Dec. 1: Reducing Stress Through Meditation from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 2: Film & Dessert “Jane Eyre” at 1 p.m.

Dec: 3: Longwood Gardens Holiday Tour at 7:45 a.m. (sign up required $81 fee)
