All of the news you may have missed this week.

Not only did Sayville make headlines this week, but Patch had an exciting seven days as well. Patch celebrated the launch of their 100th site on Tuesday. It was a great milestone for the company and a sign of more to come. We also got a facelift – same content, different look.

Regional Editor Greg Sleter started with Patch this week and will be assisting Sayville Patch, as well as 11 other sites, with daily operations.

The Town of Islip made headlines this week first with news of their recent audit and again regarding the Sayville Landfill on Lincoln Avenue. These are both stories that are to be continued. Here is the rest of this week's news.
