Thursday is Happening on Patch

Find out all the cool things to do and see in Sayville right here every Thursday.

Starting this Thursday, Sayville Patch launches a new weekly series of articles dedicated to helping you find the best that our local restaurants, stores, and real estate agents have to offer.

In addition to providing you the local news you need to know, we'll feature a weekend planner, information on what houses have sold in Sayville and a spotlight on the best, newest and tastiest in Sayville — whatever that might be.

"Get Out" will run at 10 a.m. It's our newer, punchier version of our weekend guide for those whose Friday nights can't come quick enough.

"Patch Picks" — a spotlight on local digs that tie in to current holidays or major events — will run at 3 p.m. This Thursday, we'll let you in on the best hangouts to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.

"Bites Nearby," scheduled to run at 5 p.m., offers up a suggestion for a place to chill with a nice meal and a drink — much-deserved after a long work week.

Check back at 6 p.m. for our daily PatchCast Video, which features news updates happening on Suffolk County's south shore.

We hope you enjoy these reoccurring features and learn more about the wonders of Sayville — and we hope you keep coming back every Thursday.
