Talk Back: The Public Library

Patch wants to know what service you use most at your local library.

On Tuesday, voters in Bayport and Blue Point have an opportunity to cast their vote on the public library’s for its next fiscal year.

The $2.2 million spending plan includes a tax rate increase of 1.94 percent, just below the state mandated 2 percent tax cap.

While the proposed budget keeps the tax rate increase at a minimum, the number of people walking through the library’s doors remains strong.
