Pink Hair for Hope at BOCES

For a $10 donation, community members can help raise breast cancer awareness.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, cosmetology students and teachers at the Edward J.Milliken Technical Center in Oakdale are holding Pink Hair for Hope.

The Eastern Suffolk BOCES students, which consists of students from surrounding districts including many Sayville students, want to continue raising money for research and improving breast cancer survival.

For $10 donations, students will add strips of pink hair (real hair died pink), with shorter versions available for men, to already-styled hair.
