1. If you love Northern Italian food and if you’re interested in learning how to prepare some great dishes from home, join chef Barbara Sheridan at the Bayport-Blue Point Library tonight at 7 p.m. for Northern Italian Cooking. Fee:  $5.

3. We'll have a profile this morning of a senior at Bayport-Blue Point High School who recently snagged a pretty prestigious academic title.
