- A glimpse of local Girl Scout troops marching in the Sayville Holiday Parade in Snapshots of Bayport-Blue Point.
- On Thanksgiving morning, more than 1,000 participants gathered near Corey Beach to race in the Third Annual Smiles Change Lives Turkey Trot. The race, which consisted of a 5K run and 1.5 mile walk through Blue Point, is a fundraiser for the non-profit program, Smiles Change Lives. Read about it on Patch.
