This week, Sayville Patch is not honoring just one, but a team of Whiz Kids. Diana Heidenreich nominated the CYO basketball team as whiz kids and we agree!
The students are: SUNRISE DRIVE – Morgan Remhild, Lyndsey Shaw, Victoria Geraci, Megan Collins, Carleigh O'Donoghue
LINCOLN AVENUE – Mackenzie Leddy, Karlee Ibanez, Colleen McGrath

- Whiz Kids Accomplishment: This team wom the CYO Basketball Long Island Championship. This is the first trophy that St. Lawrence CYO has received for fifth grade girl's basketball.
- Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Participation on a travel basketball team, through hard work and dedication made it to the playoffs, which is very rare for a Suffolk team.
