Every year I watch the mile long backup on Montauk Highway and wonder how they are able to get away with this. I like Christmas displays as much as anyone, but no traffic control at all, peolpe fighting in the streets as cars try to merge with the traffic line when coming from the West. Could you imagine living on that street?

Go after Christmas - less traffic - we pulled right up on Friday night, just 2 cars on the path about 1/4 mile ahead of us!
