Jan. 27: Senior Flex, Open Mic Night and Planning Board

With Phantoms varsity sports, open mic night and other events planned, Thursday in Bayport-Blue Point is packed with activities to jumpstart your weekend. Check out all there is to do in Bayport-Blue Point Jan. 27. 

Bayport-Blue Point School District has declared a snow day!

1.  hosts Arthritis Foundation Senior Flex weekly on Thursdays at 10a.m. A $10 fee is collected.

2. Phantoms (boys): Come support the Sayville/Bayport-Blue Point boys swim team at as they take on Hauppauge High School boys swim team at 4 p.m. B-BP boys basketball team takes on East Hampton at 6:15 p.m at East Hampton High School, 2 Long Lane.

2. Lady Phantoms: Cheer on the girls basketball team at 4:30 p.m. at Bayport-Blue Point High School. The girls winter track team will participate in a meet today at Bayport-Blue Point High School at 6 p.m.

3. The Islip Town Planning Board will meet this evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Islip Town Board room at Town Hall, 655 Main St., Islip, 

4. Head down to the in Blue Point for Open Mic Night with Tom Groney every Thursday. Arrive early to grab a bite to eat, or stop by at 9 p.m. for the start of the event.

5. Prime Rib special begins at at 5 p.m., and includes potato and vegetable.
