Girl Scouts to Host 8th Annual Holiday Light Show

Camp Edey in Bayport will once again be sparkling with holiday spirit Dec. 1-30.

Lakeview Avenue is set to be alight with holiday cheer again this season for the eighth at Camp Edey in Bayport.

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County host Long Island’s largest drive-through holiday event, consisting of a mile-long trail filled with beautiful holiday vignettes and displays in Camp Edey's picturesque woodlands. More than 10 miles of lights are used to achieve the festive Christmas glow residents flock to Camp Edey for. Every year the Girls Scouts enhance and add new scenes.

Kids can also visit the Holiday Village where you can have photos taken with Santa, enjoy hot cocoa, hear choruses sing and explore the Hall of Trees. The Hall of Trees consists of more than 50 trees that are donated and decorated by Girl Scout troops, and are later given to transitional housing facilities, adult homes and veterans homes.
