Sayville Players Festival

Where/When: Sayville High School on May 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Sayville High School Sayville Players will present their 33rd Annual Student-Directed Play Festival. This year's festival will feature both published and original play scripts directed by seniors Kayleigh Brennan, Rachel Crennan, Andrea DeVenuto, James Harlin, Kenneth Murray and Catherine Rico.

Kristen’s Walk to the Water

Where/When: on May 21

Why Go: Kristen Leigh Kessler, a much loved and outgoing 18 year old, lost her battle with leukemia in March of 1993.  Her love for dolphins and the ocean has been recognized through an annual three mile walk down to the water and back in the town of Sayville in her honor.  Kristen's family looks forward to familiar faces and friends to join them on this journey.

Brookside Park Cleanup

Where/When: May 22 at 11 a.m. at Brookside Park – 59 Brook Street in Sayville.

Why Go: Beautify your community and do a good deed – help clean up this county park and get it ready for the season.

Bret Williams Classical Guitar

Where/When: May 22 at 2 p.m. at Sayville Library

Why Go: New York City Classical Guitarist and Composer Bret Williams performs works from his newly released album Solo Guitar, featuring works by Piazzolla, Dyens, Villa -Lobos and others. NPR radio described the album as a: "Warm and polished sound.” Don’t miss this afternoon of beautiful classical music!
