UPDATE: All Sunday Southwest Flights Canceled at MacArthur Airport

USAirways Express has resumed operations.

UPDATE: Southwest has now canceled all flights for Sunday at MacArthur. It expects to resume operations on Monday morning, according to a statement on the airport's website.

Commercial flights at Long Island MacArthur Airport will resume on Sunday.

On the airport’s Facebook page, officials said Southwest Airlines is expected to resume operations at 4:50 p.m. Southwest customers can check southwest.com or call the airline at 1-800-435-9792 for information.

USAirways Express is expected to resume operations Sunday at 12 p.m. Customers of that airline can check usairways.com or contact the airline directly at 1-800-428-4322.

All flights on Saturday were canceled as the region struggled to dig out of a record blizzard that dumped upwards of three feet of snow on central and eastern sections of Suffolk County.
