Feb. 3: Pasta Specials, Prime Rib, Open Mic Night and Library Classes

Thursday's local agenda offers numerous classes, food specials and entertainment options. Take a look at what's happening in Bayport-Blue Point on Feb. 3, and check back with Patch later this morning to view our new feature, a weekend planner titled Get Out. The list, which highlights the area's weekend events will be available every Thursday at 10 a.m.

1. At 10 a.m. it's time for Arthritis Foundation Senior Flex class offered at the  throughout January, February and March. The exercises that participants will learn are especially designed for the less agile and are beneficial to those with arthritis. A fee of $10 is due at in-person registration.

2. Today marks the second in a series of three Microsoft Word classes offered at the library. The class begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.

3. Head down to  at 5 p.m. on Thursdays for Pasta Night. All specials include a pasta, sauce and fish outlined on their menu. 

4. It's Thursday and that means it's Open Mic Night with Tom Groney at the  in Blue Point. Begins at 9 p.m.

5. Start your weekend early at the "neighborhood restaurant and pub," . They begin taking orders for their Thursday night prime rib special at 5 p.m.
