Emergency Forces Chamber to Postpone Grand Marshal Dinner

Co-Grand Marshal of the 2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade suffers stroke; Chamber postpones Wednesday's dinner.

Due to a last-minute health crisis, the Chamber of Commerce's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal Dinner originally scheduled for today, Wednesday, Jan. 26 has been postponed.

Ed Reilly, Co-Grand Marshal of the 2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade, has suffered a stroke. At this time, Reilly is undergoing tests at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. His wife Gail, who is to serve as the other half of the Grand Marshal duo, said her husband is "OK" and "he is resting."

Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce requests that residents please include Reilly in their prayers.
