Crime Report: Six Arrests Made
Recent police activity as reported by the Fifth Precinct.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
ARRESTS:
- On Dec. 14, Timothy Miller from Sayville was arrested in Wyandanch for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Dec. 16, Richard Rosemann from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal contempt.
- On Dec. 16, Anthony Angelo Jr. from Sayville was arrested in Blue Point for criminal contempt.
- On Dec. 17, Jason Butler from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for gang assault.
- On Dec. 19, Jaclyn Carbellano from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for petit larceny.
- On Dec. 19, Michele Spurvey from West Sayville was arrested in Brookhaven for petit larceny.
INCIDENTS:

- On Dec. 11, an incident of harassment was reported on Atlantic Avenue in West Sayville.
- On Dec. 12, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Greeley Avenue in Sayville.
- On Dec. 13, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Middle Road in Sayville.
- On Dec. 18, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Lakeland Avenue in Sayville.
- On Dec. 19, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Main Street in West Sayville.
