Bayport-Blue Point High School winter sports are almost in full swing, with the boys bowling and basketball teams playing today. Kickstarting the season with a win, the girls basketball team was victorious against Newfield on Dec. 6. Brookhaven Town Board meets later this afternoon, and the Suffolk County Police Department's fifth precinct holds their December community meeting.
