Bistro 25 Receives Strong Review From NY Times

Newspaper's Long Island Dining column finds much to like about Sayville restaurant.

Since opening its doors in , Sayville’s Bistro 25 has gained a following in the community. But after a positive review in the New York Times this past week, more hungry customers may be coming its way.

In her Long Island Dining column, restaurant critic Joanne Starkey had but one regret about the eatery. “My only complaint is that Bistro 25 is not in my neighborhood,” she wrote.

Starkey found nearly all items she tried to her liking, from the glass filled with breadsticks, to the array of appetizers and the Saturday prime rib special she touted as “a beautiful slab of juicy meat cooked precisely to order.”

She closed her review of Bistro 25 by saying; “We were impressed with nearly everything at this warm, welcoming bistro, which is a find, with exceptional food at below-average prices.”
