Residents who would like to grab a prix fixe meal at one of the three Bayport-Blue Point eateries participating in the sixth annual Fall Long Island Restaurant Week have through Sunday to do so.
In Bayport, Le Soir offers a prix fixe menu of their French fare to patrons who buy off the special menu. In Blue Point, Blue Restaurant and Blue Point Bistro and Grille also offer special deals as part of the island-wide event.
The idea behind the event is simple: for eight days, Sunday to Sunday, all participating restaurants offer a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 all night, except Saturday when it will be offered only until 7 p.m. Each restaurant offers its own unique menu. More than 190 restaurants have signed on this year, according to the event website.
