Corporate Tax Filings

March 15th is the deadline for filing corporate tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120A, and 1120S), or to request an automatic 6-month extension of time to file (Form 7004). Keep in mind that even with an extension, you must estimate how much you owe (if you owe) and send in that amount by the due date. The IRS can invalidate your extension if you do not do so.

Also, March 15th is the final deadline to file an amended corporate tax return (Form 1120X) for tax year 2009 and still claim a tax refund.
