Talk Back: New Foot Spa Coming to Sayville's North Main St.

No opening date is set just yet and it means two such spas within a block of each other.

A new 'foot spa' will open on North Main Street, filling one of the several vacant storefronts.

According to a source the new owners already successfully operate several such spas in Nassau.

Asked about the nearby competition, as there is a foot spa in the Carvel center directly across the street on Main, the new operators are not concerned in the least.

Either that means they intend to offer more services maybe at better prices, or there are just lots of tired feet between West Sayville and Blue Point these days needed some massaging and soaking.

What do you think of these foot spa operations? Do you like them? Hate them? Does it seem to you they're popping up in every shopping center? Comment below and we'll do a feedback piece next week, after we get our feet massaged.

Know nothing about foot spas, but two of any type store opening so close means "for rent" signs are likely in the near future for one or both.

Bill Not totally related but the new storefront facade by the footspa and carvel looks absolutely Horrendous. It looked better before they touched it even though it still needed work. Looks like an old brick warehouse.....UGgggggggly

Looks like there may be awnings or something on the way. I'll reserve judgement until then. Meantime looks pretty plain.

Yes, happy feet.

Is it true that there is another Bank planned for old Dairy Barn Property? Sure hope not. I miss the Irish Shoppe. We could use a nice wine/cheese cafe with live acoustic music inside. I bet it would do real well in town.

The foot spa next to Carvel is great. It isn't "code word" for anything..lol It is an easy affordable way to get a relaxing massage. My friends and I love it. And the staff is very nice..

Last Patch heard the old Dairy Barn was slated to be a drive-thru bank location, possibly for Suffolk County Federal but we'll check in with the town. And Country Rotisserie lost its lease and owners say they may come back into the area at some point but Patch hasn't heard anything new.
