Seaville Realty Celebrates Anniversary

Business has been helping local residents with their real estate needs for 25 years.

Seaville Realty in Sayville recently celebrated their 25th anniversary – they have been helping local residents with their real estate needs for the past 25 years.

Seaville Realty was founded in 1985 by Marilyn Triolo. Marilyn was working for a corporate real estate company and felt something was missing. She saw her client's needs being neglected and she wanted to put them first. Marilyn translated the hometown feel that makes this part of Long Island's south shore so special into her business.

Starting with just three other agents and a secretary, Marilyn opened Seaville Realty in Stop & Shop shopping center, where they still are today. Seaville gets it's name from the town where they are located in - Sayville. When the town was founded it was called Seaville, but typo accidentally changed it to Sayville.

Seaville Realty is a family run business. Four years after opening Marilyn's son Todd became an agent. In 2007, Todd took the reins from his mom becoming the broker owner of Seaville Realty along with his wife Cathy Triolo and his sister Lynn Triolo Vita, both licensed real estate sales agents. Marilyn has stepped back as owner, but as a real estate agent she is still helping local residents with buying and selling their homes.

From those three agents the business has grown to 28 real estate sales people. One of their agents - Deborah Giglio was recently named top agent at Seaville Realty for 2009. That makes a tremendous accomplishment of 11 years straight for Deborah.

For the future, Todd wants Seaville Realty to stay as an independent real estate business. "Being independent allows our agents to give our clients the best service - buying or selling."
