Seafood & Wings Top Menu at New West Sayville Market

New owners have taken over the former Sayville Fish Market location.

In the mood for a few dozen wings and also looking for seafood, fresh or cooked for a quick dinner? Hungry diners can find that and more at the Village Fish & Wings Market that quietly opened its doors in West Sayville Monday.

The market boasts 30 different flavors of chicken wings, fresh seafood and a menu of seafood lunch and dinner take-out. The extensive menu also includes hamburgers, chicken meal options, salads and appetizers.

"We've got a full line of fresh seafood as well and our wings are made fresh on permise and we can fill orders from 60 to 200," said Michael Marano, who operated Marano's Seafood for 15 years in Ronkonkoma before opening his new enterprise.

The 30 flavors of wings includes everything from the expected, Blue Cheese, to Jamaican Jerk and Tai Chili.

Right now patron orders are running about equal between the seafood and the chicken wings, said Marano.

The operation is awaiting its liquor license and plans to offer beer and wine within a month or two. That's also about the time the market will start offering a raw bar outside near the seating area.
