Janet Berger, a broker with , said she hopes everyone remembers those less fortunate this holiday season. "There are many people having a tough time and people that recently lost their jobs," said Berger. Century 21 Bays Edge adopted a family of five for the holidays and will provide them with clothes, toys, a holiday dinner and a gift certificate. "It gives you a great feeling Christmas morning when you know you helped out," she said.

To find families in need, Berger suggests contacting local churches or the Sayville Food Pantry.
